Picking up Rubbish

On Tuesday me Ethan L, Nga Motu and Cody Read and some of room three went into the bush and picked up lots of rubbish. This shows that we have made a difference to the community.

The quest to save the Albatross

When I came up to get my certificate I had a big smile on my face because I came up in front of the whole school.

Cold Winters Night

This is my best piece of writing because I put in descriptive words and I rhymed and I have painted a picture in the persons head.This is my favourite piece of writing I have ever done. My favourite sentence is. It was like Elsa entering world. And my other favourite sentence is.The ice crystals make music when they click together.

My name sculpture

My name sculpture is really really delecit and really colourful. I really like my sculpture because I have a ballerina inside my a and my passoin is dancing I love Dancing and like my sculpture.

Cross Country

At cross country I came second place. I am really proud of myself. I was coming first through the race and then I ran out of energy so I stopped fr seven seconds and started running again up the hill. The hill Was kind of hard to run up but I did it.

Book Fair

Yesterday it was dress up day I dressed up as little red riding hood. we had a parard in the hall with the whole school.It went class by class and we went on stage it was really fun.

Amayah and Kalissa's big aventure with Maya

This slide show is about a puppy named Maya. Also two girls called Amayah and Kalissa. The adventure all starts with Maya going to have a play in the meadow. My goal is to look for punctuation and sentences that don't make sense. Me and Kalissa have written this story. We shared it on open mic friday it was really fun.

When I was doing my draft I put stars on my paper they looked very small so mrs o said to make my stars a bit bigger so I maked my stars a bit bigger after I made them a bit bigger I showed mrs o and she said to make them a bit bigger so I made them a bit bigger and then I showed the mrs o and then she said to start my black peace of paper I needed to do some blending after I did some blending. Then I did my good copy.

Me and Kalissa are drafting our growth minset and fixed mindset on a refal pade. Once we have drafted our fixed mindset and growth mindset on a refal pade. We will grab a thinking bubble to do our good copy once we have done our good copy Mrs O or Mrs H will put it on the wall.

Meerkat Facts

Fact 1 about meerkat town: Meerkat town is a lovely place to come and visit. There are two pumpkins in the enclosure and both have holes so that bugs can come out of the pumpkin so the meerkats can eat the bugs. Meerkats eat bugs. We found this out because the zoo had this in their enclosure. Haha. Oops.That is not supposed to be there. Any way... Fact 2 about meerkat town : We put tunnels in the enclosure so the meerkats can crawl through the tunnels and hide in them as well. fact 3 about meerkat town : We put rocks in the enclosure so the meerkats can look for entroters of animals that are not welcome in their space and meerkats also put their sent on things so other animals know that it's the meerkats land. Fact 4 about meerkat town : In meerkat town we put sand and sawdust in our enclosure so the meerkats can feel at home because they lived in the desert when they were in the wild but they are still wild zoos because no one has figured out how to tame meerkats yet. But it would be cool to have a meerkat as a pet but you would need a lot of stuff to have a meerkat as a pet. Fact 5 about meerkat town : In meerkat town we have under ground tunnels in the enclosure for the meerkat to go throw and sleep in and have babies in. We also put in a dog kennel for the meerkats to sleep in if it is too hot or to cold. Fact 6 about meerkat town :We have a little shade bit so the meerkats can get some shade when it is hot or raining. It does not have any walls but at least it can shade the meerkat if it's raining. Fact 7 about meerkat town : In meerkat town we have put a sine in our enclosure so people know that this is meerkat town and we put it on one of the rocks . Fractions with Emily

Emily has come in to rocking 67hq to teach us what a unit fraction is we used room tens I-pad Emily went onto explain everything. Ella and Izzy came in two they all took a group I was in Emilys group.

Brooklands zoo

This photo here is a meerkat enclosure at brooklands zoo they have two meerkats in the enclosure the enclosure has a tunnel and a kenal as you can see the kenal is for if the meerkat's get cold they can go into the kenal the kenal has a heat lamp to keep the meerkats warm. The enclosure also has some neating so if the meerkats bite anyone behind the neating is glass so the meerkats do not bite anyone just like I said before

I just got a new math goal I am very pleased. I am problay going to have this math goal for a while because it is kind of a hard goal for me . Sometimes I don't know what use for my goal and sometimes my goal gets hard.

I got a cope award on Friday it was my first cope award of 2015 I felt so happy once they called my name out. I was thrilled that I got it I AM AMAZING!
