Hi Amayah I like the bit where you say "freeze your legs off". Your writing certainly leaves me feeling your feelings...cold sea, dirty changing rooms after lots of people. Thanks for sharing, I wonder if you swam today..it did turn out hot!
Your first paragraph draws me in with the personal voice you've used Amayah. I SO know that feeling of - 'Do I HAVE to?' And I agree - 'Don't worry' is not such a big help is it, but that's how we Mums, (and Nans!) encourage kids.
